  1. I just discovered your blog and immediately mixed turmeric into some lemony water I was already preparing. I also recognize that I need to include more of it in my diet. (Try it sprinkled on eggs any way you like them, with a squeeze of lemon. This is incredible! My 5 year-old also loves this.)     • Hi there! A quick phone call to their customer service department (847-223-8141) confirms this statement. They are raised in Argentina where they are grass-fed and grass-finished. It’s actually very costly to grain-feed animals but we do it here in the U.S. to fatten animals up, unfortunately. But just because we do it here doesn’t mean that they do it in all other countries. Hope that answers your question! It’s a really safe product that many health professionals recommend. : )

    take gelatin while trying to get pregnant or while pregnant.

    • Hi Erin! I am actually 17 weeks pregnant myself right now and include it in my diet almost daily. It’s high in protein, great for building a baby and extremely healing for the gut lining which is so crucial for immune health, and to the health of your whole body! Stay tuned for a post on gut health soon! I see no reason why you wouldn’t include it in your diet unless you had a food sensitivity to beef, in that case you would probably know already and wouldn’t be eating beef products anyway. The most important thing to remember is that you want to buy clean, grass-fed gelatin like the brand in this post. Hope that answers your question. : )
