Paleo Banana Nut Bread (gluten free, dairy free, naturally sweetened)

Looking for a fail-safe recipe for a gluten free version of the classic, Banana Nut Bread? Look no further because here it is. This recipe has that perfect combination of soft, fluffy texture and the taste of bananas ’til the cows come home. It’s moist and nutty. It’s perfect.

It’s super high in protein and naturally sweetened so it’s low in sugar, which makes it a healthy choice for breakfast, dessert or as a snack. It won’t leave you hungry an hour later or in a blood sugar spike and dip cycle, that many overly processed, packaged foods will. You can feel good about indulging in this quick bread!

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the bananas, coconut oil, honey, eggs and vanilla in a food processor and pulse until combined. Pulse in almond flour, coconut flour, salt and baking soda. Stir in walnuts. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

This bread is so yummy. My hubby cannot tell that it is gluten free! Jokes on him! Ha! : )

  2. I’m not sure how old this post is or if anyone will see this but my two year old loves this for breakfast! Only thing I did differently was use same amount of finely milled flaxseed in place of the cinnamon, used only a tsp of cinnamon, and made them into muffins instead! He asks for this cake by name. Which he calls Gruffalo cake based off the the children’s book. 😉
